History:
Madison Place was originally built in 1972-73 - as apartments! These luxury apartments were constructed by a developer who created a nearly identical complex near West Alabama and Weslayan. Around 1980, the units turned "condo." The end unit as you enter has French Doors, as that was the model home. It's also why that courtyard has a fence and originally had two gates, so prospective buyers could only enter through the model.
